Hypnosis is an altered state of awareness, in which the brain wave activity in lower (Theta Brain Waves) the experience is similar to dreaming or meditation. Even if you haven’t realized it you have been in hypnosis many times before and we all have the able to be hypnotized.
When you wake up in the morning you pass through a hypnotic state and if you’ve ever drive a car and not been able to remember the journey you were in a hypnotic state. Everybody slips in and out of hypnosis many times a day, where their subconscious mind takes over and you drift away as the world continues on.
In clinical hypnotherapy a client is brought down into trace (a relaxed state) and given hypnotic suggests that the client can use as the basis for new patterns of behavior.
Some people will be able to recall the whole process and others may not, experiences can very greatly from person to person.
In trance you will be given hypnotic suggestion that will help to form the foundations of new patterns of behavior. (Hypnotic suggestions are suggestion given to a person in trance.) If you recall the hypnotic suggestions after the session do your best to act on them and if you are unable to recall the suggestions use your own best judgement to steer yourself away from old negative habits and towards new more positive ones.
How Does Hypnosis Work
Hypnosis works by helping you to establish new neuro associations and once you start to change what you associate with a behavior it becomes much easier to change it.
All behaviors have a positive intent at some level and even you don’t like to admit it you get something from your bad habits, maybe only on a subconscious level but the reward is there. Once the subconscious reward for any behavior is gone you’ll natural move away from it and can open yourself up to the possibilities of a new life.
By learning what drives your subconscious you can move yourself in any direction of your choice and become more motivated.
The possibility of change is an opportunity that you should go after now and the hard work of realizing what you want is not to be feared. The life you will get as a result of your actions can be whatever you want it to be!
